Grade Placement Criteria

Kindergarten - 5 days (all day)
Students must be 5 years old on or before September 30, 2008.

First Grade
Students must have successfully completed kindergarten.

Second-Seventh Grades
Students must have successfully completed the previous grade.

Admission Process Checklist

• Parents submit the application, along with the $50 application fee and the $100 registration fee, to Central Ohio
  Christian School.
• Upon receipt of all application forms and payments, the principal will schedule student testing and parent interviews
  for students whose application materials demonstrate that they may be well served by the school and that they and
  their parents may be willing to be a part of fulfilling the school's mission.

Approval of admission to Central Ohio Christian School will be based upon the following:

• Completion of parental commitment statement
• Meeting all financial obligations at previous school(s)
• Parent and student interviews
• Previous year's grade cards
• Rerence from previous schools
• Space available
• Student's behavioral profile
• Student's testing results

After the parent review and student testing are completed, enrollment decisions will be made by the administration. If the child
is not accepted into Central Ohio Christian School, the $100 registration fee will be refunded.

A student with academic, attendance, attitudinal, disciplinary, special education, or psychological problems may be refused
enrollment into Central Ohio Christian School. Religious beliefs incompatible with Christian beliefs may also be cause for
refusal to admit a student.

Central Ohio Christian School recruits and admits students of any race, gender, or ethnic origin to all the rights, priviledge,
programs, and activities of the schoool.

Timely submission of your child's application is of the utmost importance. A student file will be reviewed once all the application requirements have been met and all forms submitted.  A student is placed on a waiting list only after he/she has completed the admission process and has been accepted.
